Section I

Opening

In English and in Spanish.

Your business, well represented online: from the first screen to the last sale.

Su negocio, bien representado en línea: de la primera pantalla a la última venta.

Kessler conceives and builds websites and online stores for local businesses in Portland and its metro area, from Hillsboro and Beaverton to Gresham and Woodburn, and remotely for anyone else: restaurants, contractors, shops and small sellers. We work in plain language, in English and Spanish, and everything we promise is put in writing. Our work is recognized by five invariable habits: proof before speech, figures instead of adjectives, the invisible work explained, a numbered process, and a delivery on paper.

Before starting

A written quote, with the scope and the date

During the work

A fixed price, never billed by the hour

At the end

The keys in your hands: domain, passwords, guide

AYour website

For restaurants, contractors and shops that need to be found and called.

I

Website, built or rebuilt

A website for a local business that looks serious, loads fast, works on a phone and brings the calls in: up to six pages, your photos and text, your Google listing, a form that reaches you, and a panel to change what changes often from your phone.

Who it is for
For restaurants, contractors and shops in the Portland area whose site is old, slow, or does not exist yet.
Timeline
Three weeks. Priority, one week: 1,000 dollars more, if the queue allows

What it includes

  • Up to six pages, in one language; bilingual on request, written, not machine-translated
  • Your photos and text, arranged; what is missing, we write
  • Fast on a phone and easy to find on Google
  • A form that reaches you, and a QR code for reviews
  • A private panel to change hours, notices, menu and prices from your phone
  • Hosting, domain and security set up, in your name
  • The first three months of maintenance, included; then it continues month to month at 200, cancel whenever

Full details

2,400 one-time

II

Monthly maintenance

Someone who answers. Updates, fixes and small changes every month, the panel kept running, a check that the site or store still works on every phone, and a short note of what was done.

Who it is for
For any business that has a site or an online store and no one to call when it stops working.
Timeline
Month to month, cancel whenever

What it includes

  • The panel running, with its backups: hours, notices, menu and prices in your hands
  • Security and platform updates, before they break something
  • Text, photo and price changes you ask for
  • A monthly check that the form arrives and the site loads fast
  • Someone who answers within one business day
  • A short note each month of what was done

Full details

200 per month

BYour online store

For sellers who ship products and want the store and the shipping to cost what they should.

III

Online store setup

Your store built right and ready to sell: products loaded, payments and shipping configured, and a walkthrough so you can run it yourself from day one.

Who it is for
For sellers opening their first store, or moving off a page that only takes messages. No data migration yet: that comes later.
Timeline
Two to three weeks, depending on your catalogue. Priority, ten days: 1,300 dollars more, if the queue allows

What it includes

  • Your products loaded, with photos, prices and stock
  • Payments set up so the money reaches your account
  • Shipping rates that match what you actually pay
  • Tax settings configured in the platform, with the rates you give us
  • A walkthrough, recorded, so you can run it alone

Full details

3,200 one-time

IV

Shipping cost analysis

A line-by-line review of what you actually pay to ship: carriers, rates, packaging and surcharges. You receive a written report with the savings found and exactly how to claim them.

Who it is for
For sellers shipping 50 or more parcels a month who have never checked their rates against another carrier. It comes from having built the published rates and the postage calculators of a real fulfillment center, EdCo Fulfillment, which you can check in the Work section.
Timeline
One week from the day you send your rates. Priority, two business days: 200 dollars more

What it includes

  • Every carrier rate you pay today, side by side
  • Where dimensional weight is charging you for air
  • Surcharges you can drop: residential, fuel, handling
  • Box and packaging sizes that cost you a zone
  • A written report with the numbers and the steps

Full details

450 one-time

Section IV

Method

3 steps, from the first message to delivery.

How the work goes

I

You tell us about your business

What you do, who calls you, what your current site says and what it hides. By email, without jargon, in English or Spanish. We work in writing: the details of a conversation matter, and this way none of them gets lost.

II

You get it in writing

The plan, the price and what it includes, before anything begins. If it is not written down, it does not count.

III

It is built, and you receive the keys

You review it on your phone, we fix what you point out, and it goes live in your name, with a short note of what was built.

Section V

Questions

5 questions asked before commissioning.

Before you write

I already have a site. Do I need a new one?
Not always. Send us the address: we look at it and reply in writing with what is worth keeping and what is not. If it only needs maintenance, we say so.
Who owns the site when it is done?
You. The domain, the hosting and the passwords are in your name from the first day. If you leave, you take everything with you. That is also why we do not sell sites by subscription with nothing down: a site paid by the month is usually a site that is not yours.
Will you build the same site for my competitor?
No. What people see on your site is yours: we do not repeat it for another business of the same trade in the Portland metro area while you are on maintenance, or for 24 months after delivery if you are not. That is written into the agreement. What runs behind it, like the panel, is the same tool for everyone.
Can we talk on the phone?
We work in writing, by email. It is not a limitation, it is the method: the details of a conversation matter, and in writing none of them is lost or remembered differently. You get an answer within one business day, and everything we agree on stays on record for both of us.
Can we do all of this in Spanish?
Yes: every message, the written plan, the site and the monthly notes. Not translated afterwards, written in Spanish from the start.
